RL360 sponsors this year’s festive Charity Tractor Run

RL360 is proud to have sponsored 2 of the 49 tractors that illuminated Isle of Man roads last weekend

Our tractor was decorated with Christmas lights and formed part of the festive convoy that trundled along a 31 mile route lined with spectators. The journey stretched from Peel Promenade, crossed Laxey and Ramsey, and finally finished at the TT Grandstand in Douglas.

The Tractor Run has been one of the most well-attended and colourful events on the Island this festive season, and thanks to generous contributions from the public, it has reportedly raised a whopping £5000 and counting. All the money raised is being donated to 2 local charities; Manx Breast Cancer Support Group and Isle Listen.

The Tractor Run is in its second year after being brought back by popular demand, and is organised by the Isle of Man Young Farmers - a long established organisation representing the farming community.

Hannah Moore, who works in Finance at RL360, and is also Treasurer for the IOM Young Farmers commented: “The Young Farmers are overwhelmed by the support and we’re incredibly proud to have organised something different for the local community which has raised the profile of 2 incredibly worthwhile charities. We’d also like to thank the public and road users for their patience!”

The Young Farmers gave special thanks to the 200 people who gave up their time to help make the fundraiser happen; including the police and all of the locals who volunteered as drivers, decorators, charity collectors and scout vehicles.
